Dear School friends,
Tonight, I want to invite you to join the college meeting in Jerusalem, with your thoughts, feelings and active participation, because this gives us powerful support. As we guide the school we receive from the school, and your active and creative support is essential.
As the basis of our work, we meditate and develop three impulses: the when, the where, and the what.
The first is when. We want to wake up fully to the mystery of Easter 2025. What is absolutely unique about this time?
The second is the where, our spiritual location. Where does the meeting actually take place?
The third is the what; what is the deeper meaning of what we perform?
Let me briefly characterize the three impulses. Believe me, your spiritual participation, if it is real, will be certainly felt by the college and expand its possibilities to accomplish its present task.

When?
Dear friends, let us inquire, what is so special about time we meet? Its Easter 2025. A whole century has already passed since Rudolf Steiner’s death and the new century has begun. We spoke a great deal about this past century. We spoke, of course, a lot about the 3 × 33 year rhythm. But in Easter 2025, after we celebrated the centenary of Rudolf Steiner’s death on March 30, 1925, we want to pay attention to another significant rhythm of time, composed of 25, 50, and 100 years. We start from Rudolf Steiner’s death before Easter Eve 1925. The next step of spiritual evolution is taking place in the etheric world. 25 years after 1925 we arrive to 1950, the deceive time of the middle of the 20th century. In my book The Twilight and Resurrection of Humanity, I described how, after the Spiritual Event of the 20th entury was fulfilled around 1945, in the coming decade, 1945-1955, Michael gathered the greatly reduced, you can say, the surviving remains of his cosmic Sun school, to an emergency conference in the etheric world closest to Earth. In this conference, a new Michaelic plan was drafted to replace the first. If you progress 25 years from 1950, you come to the year 1975, shortly before Easter 1975. As we know, in Easter 1975, the first seed of the new Christ-Michael impulse was given.
So we can say: exactly 50 years after the death of Rudolf Steiner, through the middle point of 1950, the flame of the new Christ-Michael impulse, rescued from the Weltenbrand in Middle Europe, was kindled in the East, in Israel. Notice that the spiritual movement in time is also a spiritual movement in space, from west to East, from Germany to Israel. The seed of the new Michaelic plan, conceived in the supersensible Michaelic conference in 1950, dedicated to the development of the new Christ impulse, was planted in Easter 1975.
From 1975, the new Christ-Michael impulse is operating in the etheric and physical worlds at the same time. The next 25 years, from 1975 until 2000, are dedicated to the resurrection of old anthroposophy through inspiration of the new Christ-Michael impulse. The year 2000 marked the crucial threshold between the 20th and 21st centuries, the 2nd and 3rd millenniums. I described this threshold from various points of view, and explained its significance. I pointed out that the years 1997, 1998, 1999, through 2000, were especially challenging and decisive, because one had to carry the seeds, harvested from the resurrection of old anthroposophy, through densifying darkness of the grave of civilization. One had to carry the seeds rescued from the apocalypse of the 20th century, and plant them in the soil of the new spiritual era. But the new land of the 21st century was barely illuminated with the very first glimmers of the sunrise of the new millennium. In Easter 2000, it was for the first time possible to perceive the first light rays of the resurrected etheric Christ, rising from the Weltenbrand of the apocalypse of the 20th century, resurrecting the earth and humanity with Him. The formation and laying of the renewed foundation stone in Christmas 2023 is the fruit of this hidden spiritual breakthrough into the new century. And then, dear friends, think about what happened in the next 25 years, the last 25 years, in which you increasingly participated. And here we are now!
Let us represent the mystery of the present time clearly before our eyes: It started in March 30, 1925, in Middle Europe, when Rudolf Steiner died, and the Michaelic impulse left the earth to the etheric world. In 1950 the new Michaelic plan was created for the second century of the age of Michael. As Revelation chapter 12 tells us, this impulse was rescued and protected in the desert by the being of the earth, which means, in the spiritual aura of the holy land, and the seed of its resurrection was planted there in Easter 1975. It was developed in the protecting and nourishing aura of the holy land from the tiniest, isolated, seed, until the end of the century. Since the beginning of the 21st century it was nourished and matured through what we called ‘the threefold heartbeat of Michael’, in our rhythmic breathing between Israel, north Europe, North America, and Middle Europe. It matured during the last 50 years, 1975-2025, and brought back to Middle Europe in Christmas 2023. The renewed foundation stone of the Michaelic movement in the 21st century was laid in the global school meeting if Germany. And now it is Easter 2025. The centenary of Rudolf Steiner’s death is over. These 100, 50 and 25 years cycles, are completed. And the new Michaelic impulse of the 21st century can begin!
If you contemplate this rhythm of time, and follow the movement of the Michaelic impulse from middle Europe to Israel and back, you can begin to comprehend the unique significance of the present time, of Easter 2025. Now that the new spiritual connection between the middle of the Earth and Middle Europe is well established with the laying of the renewed foundation stone, the new Michaelic century after the death of Rudolf Steiner can begin. This is what we meant, when we recently exclaimed: The Time is at Hand! This is the spiritual significance of the absolutely unique, special, spring time of 2025. The college will contemplate this mystery each day anew in its meetings, and we invite you all to be there with us in spirit, thoughts, feelings and above all, with your active good will, dedication and love to one another.
Where?
When you take the spiritual signature of our time into our hearts, you can also contemplate this question: Where do we really meet? We can begin to answer this when we ask: where does the heartbeat of Michael, the Time Spirit, pulses, weaves and circulates, most strongly? And we find it most active and concentrated, where it embraces the karma of humanity in his present age. This takes place through the spiritual bond created between Israel and Germany, the middle of the earth and middle of Europe; between the two people, the Jews and the Germans, the givers of the Ego impulse to humanity in the past and in the present. I spoke about it in my public lectures during the Christmas week of 1923-4, after the laying of the renewed foundation stone, and we don’t have to repeat it now. In this central heart, in this spiritual-karmic place, where humanity’s heartbeat is heard most distinctly, that’s where we are going to meet. Physically, we will be in Jerusalem, but spiritually we will in the center of heavenly Jerusalem, the earthly-human Sun, where the foundation stone was laid, and we want you to join us in this special place. Remember: This place is always the heart and center! The center is always the heart of the earthly-human Sun. And the center of the earthly-human Sun is the spiritualized Goetheanum, the temple of the earthly-human Sun. So we are always in the spiritualized Goetheanum, the heart and temple of the earthly human sun, when and where we experience this with all the forces of our souls.
So please don’t say: Oh, I am not in Jerusalem and not in Germany in these days, I am living near the polar circle in Scandinavia. Therefore, I am out of place – out of time you cannot be, but out of place – I cannot be with you! But this would be merely physical illusion. Where you are fully present in your own center and your own heart, be it in Africa or China, Alaska or Russia, there the spiritual center of the universe and the earth is alive and kicking. There you are always in the spiritual center, in the temples of humanity, wherever you are physically. Forget all physical locations and limitations, forget physical Israel and Germany, forget your own country, live, weave and be in the spiritual temple of the universe, earth and humanity. There you are also coming together with spiritual beings of the hierarchies and the awakened souls of the dead. They are always there, here and now. Spirituality, the whole is all always actually there.
What?
Now that we know the mystery of the present time and the space where we meet, the sacred when and where of 2025, the question can also be raised about the what: what are we going to do in this sacred time and space? Well, what do you do usually in the temple? In the temple, naturally, you celebrate the new cosmic cultus and spiritual communion of humanity, given in laying the renewed foundation stone. In short, you form and lay, in each day anew, the renewed foundation stone. That’s what you do in the holy of holies of the temple of your heart. You celebrate and renew, daily, the new cosmic cultus and spiritual communion of humanity, the act of the consecration of humanity and earth. We do it in such a way, that we experience that the two foundation stones are one foundation stone, metamorphosed spiritually in the etheric world and on earth during 1925-1925. In the foundation stone that Rudolf Steiner laid more than a century ago, we find the threefold human-cosmic being Anthroposophia, the threefold being that teaches us cosmic love, teaches us cosmic imagination, teaches us cosmic thoughts, and we transform this human-cosmic dodecahedron, into a chalice to receive the present Christ impulse, and form the renewed foundation stone. The first foundation stone becomes the chalice for the new revelation of the Christ, and is formed as the renewed foundation stone; it is the chalice into which we receive the being of Christ, that becomes the foundation-and corner stone of the earthly-human Sun. This is the beginning and opening of a whole new Michaelic impulse and century, a whole new cycle of human evolution. Then we are truly in 2025. 2025 is the portal of a whole new cycle of human evolution in the second century of the present age of Michael.
Contemplate the sacred spiritual time, the place, and celebrate with us the new cosmic cultus and spiritual communion of humanity in the temple of the earthly-human Sun, where we form and lay the renewed foundation stone, the living spiritual foundation and source of the Michaelic movement in the 21st century. As we said above, 2025 is a remarkable year on many levels, and we must become increasingly aware and understand what is going on all around us in the spiritual and physical worlds.
As you could see in the announcement of Forum-3, my public lectures in Michaelmas 2025 will be dedicated to this new impulse. In the public lectures I gave in Forum during Christmas 2023-4 after the laying of the renewed foundation stone, I spoke about human evolution in the light of the Apocalypse of the age of Michael. It brought us to the present time. In Michaelmas 2025, I will describe what is coming now and in the near future.
